Life Empowered Therapy Services (LETS) is a therapy based company dedicated to offering quality guidance for individuals and the communities they live in. We realize that traditional therapy doesn't always work. Because of this, LETS is dedicated to providing a variety of meaningful therapeutic experiences. Our team is comprised of competent, caring individuals who bring creativity and enthusiasm to people in need of compassion, reflection and counsel. Our Clinicians provide services at our Orem location and our Murray location.
Max Dahman, LCSW
Executive Director and Therapist (Orem)
Max has been working in the mental health field for 14 years. He received his Master Degree in Social Work from the University of Utah in 2014. His career has provided him experience working with a variety of challenges people face including trauma, addiction, depression, anxiety, damaged relationships, and spiritual discord. This has lead to an approach that the mind, body and spirit are linked in the path to healing. Max brings with him the passion of nature and adventure. The wilderness is where Max feels at home and he is happy to share that with the people he serves.
Kirra Marshall, CSW
Therapist (Orem) I believe that life can be meaningful and fulfilling. This can come from exploration and healing. The focus in my practice is on LGBTQIA+ individuals and individuals experiencing faith crisis, transition, and questioning. In my professional experience trauma, depression, and various anxieties can make life feel overwhelming and lonely. I believe that an eclectic approach is the best way to help! Everyone is different is what is effective and beneficial, so I take an individualized and humanistic approach. I utilize methods from DBT, CBT, narrative therapy, solutions-focused, somatic, and existentialism. 
Brian Cherry, CMHC
Therapist (Murray) I have worked as a mental health therapist for the past 15 years and have been working in the mental health field since 1994. My education, training and experience has taught me that there’s no place for judgment. I accept you exactly as you are and then build from there. Some of my specialties include borderline personality disorder, trauma, self-worth, depression, anxiety and faith crisis. For telehealth, I primarily work with adults both individually and couples. If you need someone to listen and validate you, I can do that. If you are seeking advice, I’ll give my best. If you want skills, I have a large toolbox I’m eager to share. Rachel Ramos, LCSW
Trauma Specialist (Orem)
Rachel received her Master in Social Work from the University of Utah with an emphasis in Mental Health. She offers therapy in both Spanish and English. Her experience in both residential and outpatient settings has given her an understanding of the variety of needs people seeking therapy have including: domestic violence, abuse, disordered eating, dementia, and crisis. Rachel is passionate about supporting people who struggle with trauma. She is a fully trained EMDR and IFS therapist and uses her skills to help her clients overcome the past to create a meaningful future. In her free time, Rachel enjoys being outdoors, traveling, tapping into her creativity, and collecting old instruments.
Sean Lamb, LCSW Therapist (Orem) I have discovered through years of therapy that creating the life you want is about learning skills and removing barriers. The skills exist to help you stop or start doing what is best for you. Or perhaps you need to heal trauma so that it doesn't hold you back. Good therapy accounts for mental, physical, and spiritual health. I specialize in helping people get healthy in these three areas. I am passionate about using nature and experiential therapy to help you accomplish this. 
Kasy Martell, CSW
Therapist (Murray) As a therapist my aim is to help you reach self-acceptance, tranquility and understanding to overcome any poor weather that life sends your way. My areas of focus include trauma, sexual issues, ED in men, performance anxiety, low libido, distressing thoughts around sex and sexuality, intimacy, relationship struggles, codependency, religious trauma, as well as difficulties with self-worth and self-acceptance. I practice non-judgmental, sex positive, narrative focused approaches that are always client-centered and trauma informed. This includes Mind-Body Bridging, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Polyvagal Theory, Mindfulness Practices, and Internal Family Systems. I am also trained In and utilize EMDR and Gottman Therapy. |

I’ve had the privilege to work with a diverse population both clinically and in the role of educator. I believe that every individual brings a unique set of issues and strengths to the counseling process. I have been honored to witness individuals move past their trauma, which has taught me the importance of hope in the therapeutic process. I am passionate about working with individuals who have undergone trauma. Much of my post-graduate training focuses on trauma including EMDR training.
I take pride in continuously learning and staying abreast of the latest research and best practices to deliver the best possible outcomes. My training includes elements of Attachment Theory, EMDR, IFS, CBT and DBT. I love spending time in nature, traveling, and reading. I believe humor is a great tool for meeting life’s challenges.

It is important to me to help individuals feel heard and give them a sense of belonging. I want my clients to be able to tell their story without being judged. Tina Kurrels, AMFT
Somatic Therapist (Orem) I have always felt that being deeply listened to and understood was one of life’s best gifts. As a therapist my goal is to truly listen and understand and support you in the face of your challenges. I am also here to sift out what it is that you would most want from therapy: your challenges and your wishes are as unique as your fingerprints. Maybe you are struggling with a seemingly unsolvable problem, or a repeating pattern of behavior. Maybe it is your relationship, or it could be trauma that you have been carrying for years. I work with individuals who feel stuck, overwhelmed, sad, angry, hurt, hopeless, unlovable, and devastated. I work with all ages and am available to work in the evenings. I use a strength based humanistic approach and am non-pathologizing. I enjoy incorporating creativity such as music or dreamwork when it is appropriate. I am a Somatically Trained Therapist. I also use tools and strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which can provide practical steps in moving forward. |
